“There is a guy called Marcus Foster. Basically a guy played at my birthday, this sort of big musician who I love, and I went to go and see him at another gig, and supporting him was Marcus Foster. So, I went backstage and to meet Marcus, and he was telling me about this music video that he’s about to do that Kristen [Stewart] has just starred in. Then when I saw Kristen next, I said, ‘I can’t believe you did that. You know him and he knows you, and he knows Rob [Pattinson].’ So, again, it’s all this small world. So namely him, but I think — I have a feeling our sort of music tastes are very much in tune.” |

Kristen Stewart clearly thinks boyfriend Robert Pattinson is a rock star! The Twilight actress, 21, shelled out $12,000 to purchase two vintage guitars for her beau, 25, from Norman’s Rare Guitars in L.A.’s Tarzana area. Snapping up the instruments on December 23, just in time for Christmas, Stewart knew Pattinson would be impressed with her purchase. “She said ‘He’s gonna s–t when he sees them!’” the shop’s owner, Norman Harris, tells Us Weekly of Stewart, who strummed a guitar herself during her shopping session. The guitars — a 1959 Fender Jazzmaster and a 1947 K&F Lap Steel — will be put to good use, as Pattinson plans to record an album. |

Thousands of film fans responded to the survey, which was posted on Fandango.com during the first weeks of December. According to male moviegoers, the most anticipated blockbuster of 2012 will be Warner Bros’ The Hobbit, while for females, it’s Summit’s Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2. When it comes to remakes, men are most anticipating Sony’s Total Recall while women are most looking forward to Warner Bros’ The Great Gatsby. Several studios are missing from these lists, so it looks like some marketing departments have to play catch-up in the coming months:

The Twilight movies are more than a cultural sensation, they’re a financial phenomenon. The latest, Breaking Dawn, has ranked No. 1 at the U.S. box office for the past three weekends and has already earned $588 million worldwide. The entire franchise has brought in $2.4 billion so far and there’s still one more movie set for release next year. It’s been a lot of reward for relatively little outlay. The first two movies were produced for $37 million and $50 million, respectively. The current film is the most expensive to date with an estimated budget of $110 million. Part of the reason the budget has risen is that stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are getting paid more for playing Bella and her vampire boyfriend Edward, but they’re still not getting the $20 million paychecks that some big stars can command. |

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are planning to go their separate ways this Christmas, but will be reunited on Boxing Day for some extra special festive celebrations. The loved up Twilight stars have had little chance to see their families recently, due to filming commitments and the promotional tour for Breaking Dawn, so they have decided that this year they will spend Christmas day with their parents. Rob will celebrate in London, while Kristen will return to LA. But they won’t be apart for long. According to Showbiz Spy, they have booked a romantic getaway to the Isle of White, a place they have fallen in love with. An insider told the celebrity site: “Rob and Kristen won’t be together on Christmas Day. |
